The first large-scale clean energy UHVDC transmission project was put into operation in China, costi
According to the Gansu provincial power company news, a total investment of 26 billion 200 million yuan, will be China's first large-scale clean energy wind and solar power in Gansu sent straight to Hunan province transportation UHVDC project (wine lake project) 23 officially put into operation across the board charged.
According to Gansu electric power company introduced, "wine lake project", that is, Jiuquan - Hunan ± 800 thousand volts HVDC project, is China's “ West to East ” key power grid project. After the full benefit of this project, the power transmission capacity will be 8 million degrees per hour. According to the 5000 hours of power transmission in one year, the power consumption can be transferred to Hunan by 40 billion degrees per year, which can meet the demand of Hunan's 1/4 power supply. The wine lake project in Guazhou County of Gansu city in Jiuquan Province, hundreds of miles across the Hexi Corridor, via Gansu, Shaanxi, Chongqing, Hubei, Hunan 5 provinces, ending in Xiangtan County of Hunan Province, Xiangtan City, the line length of 2383 km. The project has 2 new Qilian and Shaoshan converter stations with a capacity of 16 million kilowatts and a rated transmission capacity of 8 million kilowatts.
Gansu province electric power company official said that the wine lake project economic, social and environmental benefits are enormous, for the promotion of Gansu energy base development, expand the new energy consumption range, improve the quality of atmospheric environment is very important.
The responsible person said, the wine lake project started construction in June 2015, completed by the end of December 2016. This focus serves Jiuquan, wind power, solar power transmission trans regional transmission channels, the full use of China's self-developed HVDC technology and equipment.
